Testimonials

"Having Quaniqua Williams visit my third-grade classroom was nothing short of transformative. With warmth, wisdom, and powerful presence, she guided my students through a poetry lesson that centered on identity — helping each child explore who they are and how their voices matter.

Through gentle encouragement and thoughtful questions, Quaniqua created a space where students felt safe to express themselves authentically. She guided the children to see that poetry isn’t just about rhyming words — it’s about telling your truth, honoring where you come from, and imagining who you can become.

I am deeply grateful for Quaniqua's care, and commitment to nurturing young minds. I look forward to continuing to work together."

THIRD GRADE TEACHER, HAPPY VALLEY ELEMENTARY

“Our 3rd graders had an unforgettable experience working with Quaniqua Williams. Through a beautiful picture book, a meaningful poetry lesson, and a hands-on craft project, Quaniqua guided students in exploring and expressing their identities in creative and authentic ways. Her integration of visual art, literature, and self-reflection perfectly supported our learning goals across literacy, the arts, and social-emotional learning. The students were fully engaged and inspired and were excited to learn from a real poet! We are so grateful for the way Quaniqua helped our students find their voices and see the power of their stories through both words and images.”
